Alright, buddy here’s a friendly, step-by-step guide that walks you through downloading and installing Menyoo Mod for LSPDFR and loading the 10 checkpoints I packed into one folder. I wrote this like I’d explain it to a friend while we’re both drinking coffee and loading mods. Let’s get it done.
What you will get?
You’ve got one folder that already contains 10 checkpoint XML files. Those are ready to drop into Menyoo so you can spawn pre-made checkpoints in-game. The filenames in the folder are:
- ArmycheckpointV1.3.xml
- Check point.xml
- D.U.I CHECKPOINT BC.xml
- dui checkpoint 2.xml
- HIGHWAY_CHECKPOINT.xml
- HighwayCheckpoint2_V1.1.xml
- MilitaryCheckpointOne.xml
- Paleto Highway DUI.xml
- San Andreas Highway.xml
- World War X Checkpoint.xml
Keep that folder handy we will use it in a minute.
Step 1
- Open any web browser.
- Go to the Menyoo download page
- Make sure you select “Legacy (Only)” not the enhanced version. For the version I used I picked 2.1.3 you should download the latest update.
- Click Download (You May Need TO Click download agian if you get redirected) and save the mod to your desktop so it’s easy to find.

Step 2
- Extract the Menyoo archive to your desktop. You’ll see a few files typically a yellow folder and white file (.asi) these are the Menyoo core files.
- Also extract the folder with the 10 checkpoints.
Step 3
- Locate your GTA V installation (the place where GTA5.exe is). If In Steam, right-click GTA V → Properties → Local Files → Browse Local Files → Open file location.
- This opens the game folder. Keep this window open.
Important: Do not drop the Menyoo files inside other subfolders. Put them into the main game folder root so Menyoo runs correctly and nothing gets messy.
Step 4
- From the extracted Menyoo files, copy the .asi and .ini files (the yellow and white files you saw).
- Paste them directly into the GTA V game folder (the root). That’s it for Menyoo core.

Step 5
- In the game folder, look for a folder called
MenyooStuff
. - Open
MenyooStuff
→Spooner
. - Now take the folder with your 10 checkpoint XML files and copy all those
.xml
files into theSpooner
folder. That’s where Menyoo reads saved placements from.

How to use Menyoo Mod and how to spawn the checkpoints
Step 1
- Launch GTA V.
- Once in-game, press F8 (the shortcut for Menyoo in my setup). If you’re pressing it for the first time, you’ll get a confirmation message accept it. Press F8 again to open the menu.
- Use the arrow keys to navigate the menu (up/down to move, Enter to select).
Step 2
- In Menyoo, scroll down to Object Spawner it’s the eighth option in the menu in my video. Select it and press Enter.
- Inside Object Spooner, look for Manage Save Files (option 5 in the menu I used). Select it.
- You’ll see the list of
.xml
files (those 10 checkpoints you copied). Choose whichever checkpoint you want to spawn. I usually pick one at random to test. - After selecting the file, choose Load Placement. That spawns the checkpoint items at their saved location in the world.

Step 3
- Use the arrow keys to move around the Menyoo menu and confirm placement.
- If you want to remove something you placed, hit Backspace (this acts as delete/clear in the object Spooner).
- Play around: some checkpoints have vehicles, barriers, or special props explore them and tweak if needed.
Troubleshooting Cases
- If Menyoo doesn’t open with F8, check that the
.asi
and.ini
files are in the game folder root and not inside another folder by mistake. - If items don’t appear after loading placement, try reloading the save or restarting the game.
- Keep all checkpoint files together in that
Spooner
folder it makes swapping checkpoints super easy. - If something feels off, rename the corrupted file and re-download it from the links in the description.
Final notes
This Menyoo setup is powerful because you can load entire pre-built checkpoint scenarios instantly perfect for roleplay, LSPDFR scenes, or practicing setups. I bundled 10 different checkpoints (military, highway DUIs, Paleto, World War X-style, etc.) so you can test a bunch of options without rebuilding anything.
If you followed these steps, you should be spawning checkpoints in no time. If anything goes sideways, tell me what step tripped you up and I’ll help you fix it. Enjoy, and have fun patrolling!
To download the 10 checkpoints, just click the button below. It will take you to MediaFire, where you’ll find a RAR folder containing only the 10 checkpoint files.
